Charles E. Black was tried by a jury on indictments charging him with conspiracy, receiving or aiding in concealing stolen goods, removing or altering identification numbers on motor vehicles, and possession of motor vehicles for which identification numbers had been removed or altered. At the conclusion of the Commonwealth’s evidence, the trial court granted Black’s motion to strike the evidence on the charge of conspiracy.
