This is an action of mandamus, instituted in this court in the exercise of its original jurisdiction, and brought for the purpose of compelling the respondents, as members of the state board of equalization, to reassemble and reas*737sess the property of the railroad, telegraph, and sleeping car companies doing business in this state, subject to taxation for general revenue purposes for the current year.
