Russell Adam Pelletier appeals his conviction of rape in violation of Code § 18.2-61; capital murder during the commission of, or subsequent to, rape in violation of Code § 18.2-31; using a firearm during the commission of murder in violation of Code § 18.2-53.1; and possessing a firearm after having been a convicted of a felony in violation of Code § 18.2-308.2.
