MEMORANDUM OPINION

(June 4, 2008)

THIS MATTER is before the Court on Defendant, Basheem Ford’s, “Motion to Set Bail” and the People’s Opposition thereto. Based upon the reasons set forth below, the Motion will be granted.

FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

On February 8, 2007, at approximately 1:20 p.m., a homicide occurred in the vicinity of Hospital Ground, near No. 15 Bjerge Gade, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
