BA delinquency petition was filed against J.E.T. (hereinafter “the Juvenile”) on May 14, 2008, alleging that he committed aggravated incest, a violation of La. R.S. 14:78.1. On August 1, 2008, the Juvenile’s motion to suppress was taken up and subsequently denied. The Juvenile then opted to enter an Alford/Crosby plea to the charge.1 At that time, the Juvenile was placed on temporary probation pending the disposition hearing.
