MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
VAN BEBBER, District Judge.
I. Introduction
This ease involves plaintiffs’ challenge of the decision of the Board of Education of Unified School District No. 233 of Johnson County, Kansas, and its superintendent to remove a book entitled Annie on My Mind from the school libraries. Plaintiffs’ claims, brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, allege that defendants violated plaintiffs’ rights under the.First and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and § 11 of the Bill of Rights to the Kansas Constitution. Plaintiffs seek injunctive and declaratory relief.
