Elizabeth Holly, plaintiff and appellant herein, appeals to this court from the verdict of the jury in favor of the defendant, Charles Mitchell, in an action brought by the plaintiff in the District Court for Douglas County, Nebraska, in which the plaintiff sought damages from the defendant for personal injuries sustained by her as a result of a car-pedestrian accident which occurred on September 26, 1979, at approximately 4:30 p.m., at 15th and Douglas Streets in Omaha, Nebraska.
