OPINION

SHERRY RADACK, Chief Justice.

A jury convicted appellant Terrence McNeil of felony murder for causing the *411death of a child in the course of committing the offense of injury to a child and assessed his punishment as life in prison. On direct appeal, appellant argues that he received ineffective assistance from his trial counsel. We affirm.
