Jose Antonio Peyro appeals from a conviction after a jury trial on charges stemming from his role in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine. 1 For reversal, Peyro ar gues that the district court: 2 (1) violated his sixth amendment right to confrontation when it foreclosed his cross-examination of a witness who had purchased cocaine from him as to how the cocaine was further distributed; (2) improperly admitted prejudicial evidence of an unrelated conspiracy; (3) erred in refusing to grant a mistrial or strike the testimony of a witness alleged incompetent; and (4)…
