The above-captioned three claims arose from the same accident, were tried together, and will be dealt with in a single opinion.

On the afternoon of August 15, 1941, a five-passenger Buick car operated by the claimant, Alice Petrozak, entered State Highway No. 84 from State Highway No. 17 at a place known as Bradley’s Corners, and then proceeded in a southerly and then westerly direction through Jones’ Corners, toward Slate Hill.
