*622 {¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant, Shawn M. Geisel, appeals from the trial court's decision of June 6, 2017, in which the court upheld an order of the Civil Service Board of the City of Dayton, Ohio (the "Board") affirming his involuntary demotion from Firefighter Recruit to Emergency Medical Technician-Basic.
