Plaintiff, Loren Vaught, filed for unemployment compensation after termination of his employment. Although it was determined that plaintiff was eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits, a claims adjuster found that plaintiff received $806 a month in social security and that 50% of that was disqualifying income. Accordingly, plaintiffs weekly unemployment insurance benefit was reduced by $94. Plaintiff appealed the claims adjuster’s decision.
