for the Court:

¶ 1. James Magee appeals the Walthall County Circuit Court’s judgment dismissing as successive-writ barred his August 2012 petition to show cause or, in the alternative, for a writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, Magee raises the following issues: (1) whether he was deprived of a parole date without due process of law; (2) whether his sentence is illegal; and (3) whether he was subjected to ex post facto violations.
