BASCHAB, Judge.

The appellant, Diana Lynn Shivener, pled guilty to reckless murder, a violation of § 13A-6-2(a)(2), Ala.Code 1975, and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, a violation of § 32-10-1, Ala.Code 1975. Ultimately, the trial court sentenced her to serve a term of twenty years in prison on the reckless murder conviction, but split the sentence and ordered her to serve five years followed by five years on probation. It also sentenced her to serve a term of ten years in prison on the leaving the scene conviction, but split the sentence and ordered her to serve three years…
