Plaintiff Theodore McGary prevailed against his former employer, the Peace Corps, in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). The EEOC determined that the Peace Corps’s decision to fire McGary was motivated by unlawful retaliatory ani mus, and it awarded him relief including damages, attorney’s fees, and back pay with interest.
