Notwithstanding the fact that lien laws have long been in force in the state, and are a part of its recognized legislative policy, the present controversy raises several questions which thus far in this jurisdiction remain undetermined.
The initial question naturally presented in the order of events concerns the parties to the suit and the method by which they have been brought into court. Our statute lacks the definite direction which some enactments contain that all persons in interest, including owners, contractors and lienors, shall be made parties.
