June J. McChane, one of the defendants, was the owner of the car involved in a collision with plaintiff’s bicycle, which collision occurred on the night of September 25, 1940, near an intersection of two streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa. There is no denial that Lloyd McChane, the other defendant, was driving the ear at that time with the consent and approval of the owner. The plaintiff, at the time of the accident, was riding his bicycle and was approaching the intersection.
