| ¡¡In this criminal matter the defendant/appellant, David J. Stewart (“Stewart”), appeals his adjudication as a multiple offender and his resulting sentence. We affirm.

Stewart was charged in a bill of information with first degree robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:64.1, to which he entered a plea of not guilty. Stewart proceeded to a jury trial that resulted in a conviction on the charge. Subsequently, the trial court sentenced Stewart to imprisonment at hard labor for twenty-five years without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. This…
