Appellant was arraigned before a special court-martial convened at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois, charged with being absent without leave and failure to obey transfer orders, in violation of Articles 86 and 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 886 and 892, respectively. He pleaded guilty as charged and was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for four months, and forfeiture of $50.00 per month for a like period.
