JURISDICTION

In 1979, a subcontractor, Keller Industries, Inc. (Keller), supplied and installed large mirrors on the dressing room walls of an apartment complex being built in Scottsdale. In May, 1982, plaintiff Betty M. Harrington, a tenant in one of the apartments, was severely injured when the mirror in her unit separated from the wall, fell, and shattered. Harrington brought suit for personal injuries against several defendants, including Keller. The other defendants received pretrial summary judgments.
