WOLF, District Judge.

I. SUMMARY

This is a difficult and disturbing case. Defendant Darwin Jones is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and faces a long sentence if convicted. This case is difficult because Jones filed a motion to suppress which, depending on the resolution of disputes concerning the facts leading up to his seizure on the night of July 3, 2007, might have been meritorious.
