I. SUMMARY
This is another case in which police misconduct has jeopardized the prosecution of a defendant charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm, among other things. See United States v. Rullo, 748 F.Supp. 36 (D.Mass.1990) (Wolf, J.) (police officers beat suspect and testified falsely, resulting in suppression of firearm); see also United States v. Jones, 620 F.Supp.2d 163 (D.Mass.2009) (Wolf, J.) (police officers testified falsely but firearm not suppressed).
