Introduction and Background

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee (the “Debtor”) filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code on January 4, 2011. The statute of limitations for pursuing avoidance claims, such as preferences and fraudulent transfers, will expire on January 4, 2013. See 11 U.S.C. § 546(a).
