This is Grant Richards’ second appeal of his 1991 conviction for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. Following the first appeal, in which Richards contended, inter alia, that the trial court erred in finding that the police officers who searched his home pursuant to a search warrant complied with the knock and announce rule, this court remanded for clarification of the trial court’s findings on the issue of whether the officers announced their identity and purpose before or after entering the apartment.
