NORRIS, Judge.

This is a suit for an accounting and a distribution of profits arising from an alleged joint venture. The plaintiffs, a Florida corporation called Florida Universal Financial (Florida) and its president, Jerome Burkett, sued a number of people and entities who allegedly entered a joint venture with Florida. Even though the prospective business project was unsuccessful, a lot of money changed hands and Florida, wanting to recoup its losses, demanded an accounting and a share of alleged secret profits.
