Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Lehmann, J.), rendered February 25, 2011, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of promoting prison contraband in the first degree and tampering with physical evidence.
In February 2010, while he was incarcerated, defendant was searched by correction officer Charles Lawrence following a visit with a family member and a friend.
