The parties to this suit, omitting the names of certain individuals as unnecessary to be given, were W. H. Ensminger, plaintiff, and Texas Central Life Association (hereinafter designated TCLA), Mutual Life & Loan Association of America (hereinafter designated ML&LA), Bankers Life & Loan Association of Dallas, Tex. (hereinafter designated BL&LA), Western Union Life Company of Houston, Tex. (hereinafter designated WULC), defendants. Said defendants were state-wide mutual insurance associations or corporations.
