This case involves the consideration of an appeal by the plaintiff from, the judgment of. the district court for Pierce county. The plaintiff sued to recover damages sustained by reason of the burning of six stacks of oats and incidental injury connected- with the loss. The full damage sought to be recovered was- $800 claimed to be sustained by reason of the negligence of the defendant in the careless handling and management of his traction-engine while threshing grain for the plaintiff.
