On November 28, 1925, a woman as guardian of the person and property of her minor children, acting by an attorney at law, presented to the ordinary a petition for leave to sell described realty as property of her wards, for their “maintenance, education, and support.” The petition concluded with the statement: “This 28th day of November 1925,” and was verified by affidavit of the petitioner sworn to before the ordinary on that date.
