This is a suit by a taxpayer seeking to void ordinances of the Washington County Quorum Court levying an additional local recording fee on deeds and other instruments. The Chancellor granted Plaintiffs Motion for Summary Judgment, declared the ordinances void and ordered a refund of the fees collected.
