This appeal stems from a suit brought in the circuit court by appellant Creighton Wong, a student at the Manoa Campus of the University of Hawaii, against appellee University of Hawaii and its officials (hereinafter “University”). The suit sought injunctive and declaratory relief to enjoin the University from imposing disciplinary action against appellant.
