This suit was brought in the district court of Cameron county by plaintiff in error, praying for judgment and foreclo- ure of those certain vendor’s lien notes executed by defendant in error for the purchase price of land conveyed to him by the Southern Land Company, certain subdivisions of this land being blocks 87, 92, 93, and 94 in subdivision No. 25, to defendant in error J. D. Young by four separate deeds of date May 15, 1914, but which deeds were not delivered until after the 29th of May, 1914, and in part payment for each of said blocks defendant in error executed to the Southern Land…
