Household and personal effects belonging to plaintiff were destroyed in a fire which burned plaintiff’s home in Bogalusa, May 8, 1929. The articles thus destroyed were covered by a fire insurance policy issued to plaintiff by defendant company.

Plaintiff is suing for $400 face value of the policy also for 12 per cent damages on the loss, and attorney’s fees for which judgment was rendered in his favor. Defendant appeals.
