Plaintiffs Lucretia Mali and the estate of Frederick Mali (hereinafter “Plaintiffs” or “the Malis”) appeal from the judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Ellen Bree Burns, /.), entered after trial on the jury’s verdict in favor of defendant Federal Insurance Company (hereinafter “Defendant,” the “insurer,” or “Federal”). The verdict and judgment denied the Malis indemnification under their insurance policy for the destruction of their barn by fire.
