Defendants seek a writ of mandate to compel respondent court to vacate its order transferring their trial out of the Superior Court of the City and County of San Francisco to the Superior Court of the County of San Diego.

On February 16, 1970, defendants, three inmates of the California Correctional Training Facility, at Soledad, in Monterey County, were indicted for assault upon and the murder of a prison guard.
