This is a proceeding in error from the district court of Lancaster county.
In the court below the plaintiff’ complained that the defendants were contractors and builders, in the city of Lincoln, Nebraska; that on the 28th day of August, 1886, the defendants were engaged in the erection of a two-story brick building on O street, in said city; that the walls of said building had reached a height of thirty-five feet above the ground, and about five feet above the second story; that the plaintiff was a brick mason, or bricklayer, and was employed by the defendants, with other…
