Spivack, Shulman and Goldman1, a law partnership (the Firm), as plaintiff, filed a complaint for attorney fees against defendant Foremost Liquors, Inc., an Illinois corporation (Foremost). Foremost filed a two count counterclaim against plaintiff alleging that it suffered great monetary loss as a result of plaintiff’s gross, wanton and negligent legal advice and plaintiff’s failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
