Tkis is an action brougkt by Gilbert T. Beeder against Charles B. Lockwood and Walter S. Sinclair, as co-partners in business, for a conversion. The defendants were commission brokers, doing business under the firm name of C. B. Lockwood & Co. According to the complaint, they sold stock for the plaintiff, who was their customer, and appropriated the proceeds to their own use, with the exception of a small amount which they paid over to the plaintiff.
