This is a child-support tice. Support Enforcement Unit (CSEU) appeals the trial court’s decision staying enforcement of a foreign support order on the basis of lack of personal jurisdiction. Specifically, CSEU argues that the trial court erroneously allowed Mr. Thompson to present defenses which were barred when he failed to request a hearing to contest the validity of the order under Ark. Code Ann. § 9-17-606 (Repl. 1998). CSEU asserts that the trial court erred in considering these defenses and declaring the statute unconstitutional. We affirm in part and…
