The Dime Savings Bank, at Carthage, was incorporated under the Banking law of Illinois in 1906 with a capital of $50,000 and engaged in the banking business and continued to carry it on until April 24, 1930, when it suspended business and its assets were taken into the possession of the Auditor of Public Accounts, who appointed a receiver and later filed a bill in the circuit court of Hancock county for a settlement of the business of the bank and a dissolution of the corporation.
