Lofton Croom died on April 13, 2001. On April 12, 2002, Carol Miller, the Public Administrator for Pemiscot County (“public administrator”) filed with the Probate Division of the Circuit Court (“probate court”) a copy of the purported Joint Last Will and Testament of Lofton Croom, along with copies of the purported First and Second Codicils and purported, original Third Codicil to the Will. 1 Additionally, the public administrator filed an “Application for Probate of Will,” praying that after the filed instruments testamentary were proven that these instruments…
