The Virginia Railway and Power Company is the successor in title of the franchise of the street railways in the city of Richmond of the Richmond Traction Company, the Richmond Passenger and Power Company, and the Virginia Passenger and Power Company. It was fined one hundred dollars for discontinuing service on one of its routes in the city without the consent of the city council, and to the judgment imposing such fine the writ of error in this cause was awarded.
