On the 5tli day of February, 1879, James Laboyteaux filed in the Auditor’s office of Henry county his petition in writing, as follows :

“ To the Honorable Board of Commissioners of the County of Henry and State of Indiana:
“ The undersigned, respectfully petitioning, showeth to your honorable body the following : That he is amale inhabitant of Henry county, State of Indiana, is over and above the age of twenty-one (21) years, is a man of good moral character, is not in the habit of becoming intoxicated, and is, in all respects, a fit and proper person to be entrusted with a license empowering…
