In this action on an insurance contract, plaintiffs, the president, chief financial officer, and chairman of Sloan’s Auction Galleries, Ltd. (“Sloan’s”), successfully defended a suit brought by an unpaid consignor, and sought payment for their defense costs under a directors and officers (“D & O”) liability insurance policy purchased from defendant Houston Casualty Company (“Houston”).
