DECISION AND ORDER
HECKMAN, United States Magistrate Judge.
On February 26,1999, this court issued its findings of fact and conclusions of law after a non-jury trial in this ease brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act. DiPirro v. United States, 43 F.Supp.2d 327 (W.D.N.Y.1999). The court found defendant liable to plaintiffs in the total amount of $54,000.00 for damages arising out of an August 10, 1994 accident involving a postal vehicle and a car driven by plaintiff Donna DiPirro.
