In this case, the defendant, Charles Little, was accused of entering and remaining unlawfully in the residence of Frances M. Hillman on Greens Farms Road in Westport on January 8, 1980, with intent to commit a crime therein.1 After a trial to the jury, the defendant was convicted of the crime of burglary in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-10S (a).2
