The relator, Frederick E. Bauer, who on June 6, 1949 was ordered-deported from the United States, has -applied to this -Court for an order compelling the Attorney General to admit relator to administrative bail pending further proceedings, under -pajin of an order unconditionally sustaining a writ of habeas corpus dated November 17, 1949.

Relator, a native of Alsace, came to this country in 1930 and became a citizen of the United States in 1935. In 1938 he returned to Germany. In 1940 he became a member of the armed forces of that country, and eventually was…
