CHANDLER, Justice, for the Court:

¶ 1. After a jury trial, Wanda Clark was convicted of two counts of felonious child abuse and sentenced on each count to eighteen years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with six years suspended, to run concurrently. See Miss. Code Ann. § 97-5-39(2)(a) (Rev.2006).
