SANBORN, Circuit Judge.
This is an appeal from a judgment dismissing the plaintiff’s (appellant’s) complaint in a libel action brought to recover $1,350,000 as compensatory and punitive damages. At the time of the entry of judgment there were 72 defendants, who are now the appellees.
