Appellant Rodney Dimitrius Lake, also known as Rodney D. Lake, pled not guilty to the offense of sexual assault of a child under seventeen ’ years of age. A jury found Appellant guilty of that offense and assessed his punishment at ten years’ imprisonment and a $10,000 fine but recommended that the confinement portion of the sentence be suspended and that Appellant be placed on community supervision.
